Do not steal/copy/repost without my permission. If you would like help with the rules or general concept of your site, feel free to ask - I'm always happy to help. These rules will be edited periodically. Please check back at least once a week. All questions will be answered - but not with a post by staff. Your post will be edited and answered by a staff member (usually an administrator) - so check back! Just because there is no new posts does not mean your question was not answered! The Code of Kalaskia ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Part I: General Rules --Rule 1: :: All users must read the entire Code of Kalaskia and post here any message of acceptance to be allowed to role play here. WL +100% --Rule 2: :: All users must role play with semi-literate and above skill. Meaning that (1)complete sentences, (2)fair grammar, (3)decipherable spelling, (4)and punctuation are expected. (For clarification, please read my Role Playing 101 thread.) WL +5% --Rule 3: :: No user is allowed to powerplay or godmode any other user's character(s) under any circumstances. WL +10% --Rule 4: :: No user is allowed to begin role playing until an Administrator has accepted his/her character(s). WL +15% --Rule 5: :: All users must accept any punishment given by a Staff member without protest, and users will not argue with Staff. WL +10% --Rule 6: :: No users are allowed to post material of a sexual nature in the "common" boards. All common site content must be PG-13 or lower. Any desired sexual content must be communicated through Personal Messages or in designated boards. WL +25% ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Part II: Character Rules --Rule 1: :: All specifications for characters can be found in each Character Sheet board. Only post characters of the given Souls (dark/light) in their propper boards. Follow all provided character rules. Forced Edit --Rule 2: :: No character can be a member of more than one Clan; however, a character, through wrongdoing or misconduct, can be banished from a Clan and join another. --Rule 3: :: There will be no chating in a character profile thread. This makes the profile boards cluttered and makes it hard for Administrators to find which character threads are new and which have simply been bumped up by chatting. WL +5% to all chatting parties --Rule 4: :: Only one character per profile thread please, and only one profile thread per character. WL +5% --Rule 5: :: Users are allowed to use pictures, but you MUST prove that either (a) You drew the picture, (b) Someone drew it for you, (c) The artist has given you permission to use it, or (d) You colored a template and provide the link back to the template artist. WL +35% ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Part III: Art Rules --Rule 1: :: No user is allowed to use artwork done by another person as a reference for their character unless: the art was a gift, the artist gave written permission for the user to use the artwork, or the art is part of a large number of images, each describing certain features of a character. WL +50% --Rule 2: :: No user is allowed to use artwork done by another person and claim it as their own work. WL +60% --Rule 2: :: No user is allowed to edit artwork done by another person - even if the artwork was given to the user; unless the artist has given written permission for the user to do so. WL +50% --Rule 3: :: All users who used editable templates for their characters must link back to the person who made them, as well as leave the copyright unedited. That is a slightly foreign concept to me, but it sounds a great deal like coloring an artist's template. (Great minds think a like or what?) Perhaps indeed! I've used versions of the same rules over and over again... Instead of rewriting them. XD I'm lazy like that...
